dozens (and dozens) of good reasons to check out Record Store Day in Savannah

Here’s what you really need to know about Record Store Day:

This is a day for the people who make up the world of the record store—the staff, the customers, and the artists—to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities.

The annual Record Store Day is this Saturday, April 19.

And take a look at some of the special releases and other deals available at Graveface Records & Curiosities on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.:

In addition to all that, the Graveface event will also see the release of Creepoid’s new 12″ on the Graveface label, the release of Triathalon’s new 7″, and a performance by Triathalon in the store at 8 p.m. Other bands are also slated to play, but I haven’t seen a full lineup yet. Rodys Audio Warehouse on Mall Boulevard is also participating in RSD. Dozens and dozens of special titles are listed on the Facebook event invitation, and there will be other promotions as well.
