MusicFile Productions, parent company of Savannah Stopover and Revival Fest, will continue its impressive run of shows with the Brazilian band Os Mutantes on Wednesday, November 20 at Dollhouse Productions. Capsula, from Buenos Aires, Argentina will open.

Os Mutantes, pronounced “Os Moo-Tan-Chis”, is a Brazilian psychedelic rock band formed in Sao Paulo during the Brazilian Tropicália movement in 1966 by Sérgio Dias (guitar, bass, vocals), Arnaldo Baptista (bass, keyboards, vocals) and Rita Lee (vocals).
The importance and influence of Os Mutantes reaches across the music scene at a national and international level. They are recognized as one the most creative, dynamic, radical and talented groups of the psychedelic era and in the history of world music. The group has influenced everyone from of Montreal to Talking Heads, Kurt Cobain and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Besides their innovative use of feedback, distortion and studio tricks of all kinds, Os Mutantes are the pioneers in blending punk and rock and roll with Brazilian musical elements and themes.
