Hey guys,
It looks like another pretty good weekend downtown. There’s a couple of early shows on Friday that should be worth checking out. I’m looking forward to the Grand Gestures/Hypnotics show at the Jinx that night, but will try to catch a bit of Josh Roberts and the Hinges next door at Barrelhouse on Friday also.
Saturday brings another couple of good shows in the afternoon, followed by a plethora of shows that night, take your pick. I plan to try to catch the Black Tusk at Sulfur show that night, but I am afraid that it will be a pretty crowded concert. Sunday brings another big event, Trinity Methodist Church’s pastor, Enoch Hendry, is retiring. I believe that it was Enoch’s vision that helped Trinity become such a special music venue and I feel that Trinity was lucky to have him. There will be a big farewell benefiting the church’s restoration fund at Telfair Square on Sunday, be sure to check it out, if you are able. Thanks for checking this page out and I hope to see some of you around this weekend.
