Hey everybody,
It looks like there are some pretty good shows going on this weekend. I hope to start the weekend with some City Hotel at Service Brewing, then jump over to the Rail for a bit of the Danielle Hicks Band. From there, I will probably bounce up and down Congress Street until I find a thing (or three) that I like. I am not familiar with many of the bands playing on Saturday, so I am not sure where I will end up. I do plan on making it by Molly’s to catch the Train Wrecks that night. There is one show during the week that I would recommend trying to make it out to see, Joe Nelson at the Foxy Loxy Cafe. He is one of Savannah’s most talented guitarists, it’s not often you see someone play six different string instruments in one night. If you are a fan of old-time music, you will not be disappointed. I hope to see you make it out to some live music this weekend, be sure to say “hello” if you see me around.
