Son Little and Miquel Moure at The Jinx – photos

Son Little made his Savannah debut recently at The Jinx. The venue isn’t exactly known for “new soul” or “future soul” but a really solid crowd turned out.

This might seem like a silly comparison to some people, but Son Little’s show at The Jinx reminded me a little of the set by Natalie Prass at Hang Fire last year. Not the same sound, but both artists have understated stage presences that allow their sheer virtuosity — as vocalists and guitarists — to speak for them. Really, really good. Another strong booking from our friends at MusicFile Productions/Savannah Stopover.

The talented Savannah-based indie rock band and Stopover alum Miquel Moure opened. Tough lighting these days at The Jinx, but otherwise the Congress Street club is firing on all jets. Click on through for more pics.
