Savannah Stopover announces first wave of bands for 2015 festival

Savannah Stopover has announced the initial lineup of bands that will be performing at the 5th annual festival in March. This is only about a third of the total number of acts that will eventually be confirmed.

First Wave Stopover 2015 ver.3

If you don’t know a lot of these bands, join the club. As my fellow blogger Tom has said often, Savannah Stopover is all about discovery — the festival staff spends all year listening to bands, including many up-and-coming ones, and they curate a strong, diverse lineup. For attendees, the festival turns into a 3-day adventure/bar-crawl filled with surprises.

We’ll obviously have a whole lot more to say about Savannah Stopover V as additional bands, the venues, and the schedule are announced. The next big event is the kick off to the Stopover season on 11/21 with Futurebirds, this mountain, and Amythyst Kiah performing at Southbound Brewing.
