Gregg Allman tribute concert at the Fox in Atlanta in January

From Rolling Stone’s Gregg Allman Tribute Concert Will Feature All-Star Lineup:

The Allman Brothers Band, Jackson Browne, Natalie Cole and more will pay tribute to 65-year-old rock icon Gregg Allman at a special concert next year. The event, dubbed “All My Friends: Celebrating the Songs and Voice of Gregg Allman,” will take place at the Fox Theater in Atlanta on January 10th, and it will be filmed and recorded for a future release. “Once-in-a-lifetime collaborations” are expected from the participants, who’ll also include Trace Adkins, Eric Church, Warren Haynes, John Hiatt, Sam Moore, Taj Mahal, Keb’ Mo’, Martina McBride, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Widespread Panic and many more.

The rock legend of course spends a lot of time these days at his home in Richmond Hill outside of Savannah.

Here’s a video of “I Can’t Be Satisfied” recorded a couple of years ago as part of the “Savannah rehearsal sessions” at Elevated Basement Studio.
